Ph.D. Susana Osorio Ocampo │ Volcanic Evolution

I’m Geologist from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), MSc in Earth sciences from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (México) and PhD candidate in Earth sciences of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (México). I’m dedicated to geosciences research especially in volcanic evolution. During my postgraduate projects, I have been working in cartography, stratigraphy and geochemistry of monogenetic volcanic fields and volcanic calderas. Currently, I work as a professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at the Universidad de Caldas, I am part of the Volcanology and Petrology research group of this Institute, and I am a member of the Research Group on Stratigraphy and Volcanology (GIEV) Cumanday.
