Estefanía Angulo Pardo │ Calcareous Nanofossils

I am a Geologist from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), candidate for an MSc in Earth Sciences from the Universidad de Caldas. My main interests are Micropaleontology and Biostratigraphy in Cretaceous marine sediments based on calcareous nanofossils, however, I also work on the analysis of Cenozoic calcareous nanofossils for biostratigraphic and paleoecological purposes and together with the collaboration of my expert colleagues in other areas I participate in solving some geological problems. My research project involves the late Campanian – early Maastrichtian and late Maastrichtian nanofossil calcareous assamblage in Colombia and their paleogeographic implications. Currently, I belong to the group of calcareous nanofossils of this institute.
