I am a Geologist from Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), Specialist in Environmental Management and Disaster Prevention from Universidad Sergio Arboleda (Colombia), and MSc candidate in Earth Sciences from Universidad de Caldas. My interests in geosciences include research in geodiversity, geosystem services, geoconservation, geotourism and geoeducation. I have participated in micropaleontological research on calcareous nannofossils and I am part of the science communication group Aurora, promoting synergies that allow the creation of outreach projects in earth sciences, with the purpose of contributing to social transformation for environmental conservation, prevention, mitigation and adaptation to global and climate change. I am also part of the scientific team of the Ruiz Volcano, candidate for UNESCO Geopark.
