I am Geologist from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), MSc in Earth Sciences from the Universidad de Salamanca (Spain) and PhD student in Geology from the Universidad de Salamanca. My main interests are the biostratigraphy and paleoceanography with foraminifera and stratigraphy from the Cenozoic basins of northern South America.
I am currently a researcher at the IIES, I belong to the foraminifera group, to the Scientific Committee of this institute, and I am a member of the Research Group on Stratigraphy and Volcanology (GIEV) Cumanday.
