I am Geologist from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), MSc in Earth Sciences from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia) and PhD in Geological Sciences from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina). My main interests are biostratigraphy, paleoecology and paleoceanography, although I work on several other topics that concern my colleagues, such as stratigraphy, sedimentology and other micropaleontological tools.
Currently, I am professor in the Instituto de Ciencias Polares y Antárticas (ICPA) of the Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego (Argentina), I have a postdoctoral position in the Centro Austral de Investigaciones Científicas (CADIC-CONICET, Argentina) and belong to calcareous nannoplankton group of the Instituto de Investigaciones en Estratigrafía (IIES). I am a member of the Research Group on Stratigraphy and Volcanology (GIEV) Cumanday.
