Daniela Aguirre Osorio │ Calcareous Nannofossils & Benthic Foraminifera

I am a Geologist from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia), a student of Master in Earth Sciences from the Universidad de Caldas. My main interests are micropaleontology and biostratigraphy. My research project is based on the analysis of calcareous nannofossils and benthic foraminifera in the Caribbean and Colombian Pacific basins, with a focus un understanding paleoenvironmental conditions during the period of maximum flooding in the early Miocene. Currently, I belong to the group of Calcareous Nanoplankton of this institute, and I am a member of the Research Group on Stratigraphy and Volcanology (GIEV) Cumanday.
