M.Sc. Rafael Francisco Castaño Cardona │ Paleopalynology & Stratigraphy

I am a Geologist graduated from the Universidad de Caldas-Colombia, I have a specialization in metallic mineral deposits at the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco-Peru and a Master’s degree in Earth Sciences also at the Universidad de Caldas. My main interests are paleopalynology and stratigraphy. My research involves the palynological analysis of Aptian-Albian amber deposits of the Eastern Cordillera of Colombia and the Oriente Basin of Ecuador.
