Laura Sánchez Torres │Volcanology & Petrology

I am Geologist from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia) and Master in Earth Sciences from the Universidad de Caldas (Colombia). My main interests are volcanology and petrology. My research project involves the characterization of the volcanoes belonging to the Samaná Monogenetic Volcanic Field (Colombia) in order to reconstruct the history and understand the plumbing system. Currently, I am part of the Volcanology and Petrology group of this Institute, and I am also part of the Research Group on Stratigraphy and Volcanology (GIEV) Cumanday.
