Christopher Arredondo Arroyave │ Geochronology & Geochemistry

Geologist and researcher at the Institute of Stratigraphy Research (IIES) at the University of Caldas. My experience focuses on the preparation and analysis of dense minerals, petrography, mineral chemistry, and radiometry, mainly of apatites and zircons. Currently, I am a master’s degree candidate in Earth Sciences at the University of Caldas, and I lead a research project aimed at characterizing subvolcanic igneous bodies through petrographic analysis, mineral chemistry, whole rock chemistry, U-Pb and K-Ar dating, with the intention of generating petrogenetic models for the Guyabales mining prospect of Collective Mining company.
